Outside of clinical work, I value balance and staying connected to the rhythms of everyday life. I’ve lived in regions across this country as well as several different countries over the years, which has shaped my appreciation for different communities and perspectives. I spent my childhood in Massachusetts, then moved to NYC for college, spent a year in Europe and a year in Australia, moved to the west coast and then the midwest, with a short time in the southwest thrown in there, too. I eventually made my way back to New England and have been in Connecticut since 2021.
I enjoy spending time outdoors—especially gardening. Movement is also an important part of my life, whether that’s exercising, playing recreational sports like pickleball or volleyball, or simply getting outside for fresh air. I love to travel and explore new places whenever I can, and at home I’m usually accompanied by my two dogs, who keep life interesting.
I also strive to create a practice where people from diverse backgrounds and identities feel comfortable and respected. My goal is for every patient to feel that they can show up as their full self in the therapeutic space.
I create a calm, collaborative space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and never rushed, allowing time to fully understand your experiences, concerns, and goals. My approach integrates thoughtful medication management, supportive therapy, and clear, accessible education so you can better understand your options and feel empowered in your care.
Together, we work to develop a treatment plan that is not only clinically appropriate but also realistic, sustainable, and aligned with your life, helping you make confident, informed decisions about your mental health and overall well-being.
I designed my fully virtual practice with the goal of reducing barriers to care for individuals across Connecticut, especially for women, healthcare workers, and LGBTQIA individuals who may face unique challenges in accessing support. Through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth services, flexible scheduling options, and a responsive approach to communication, I aim to make care more accessible, convenient, and consistent.
Whether you are navigating a difficult transition or seeking ongoing support, my practice is structured to meet you where you are and provide reliable, compassionate care during the more vulnerable and demanding seasons of life.
