My Prenatal Support Appointments give patients a dedicated space to focus on the emotional and mental side of pregnancy — often the part that gets the least time at routine visits. These prenatal support appointments are available in 15, 30, or 60-minute formats, so you can choose the level of support that matches your needs and your schedule.
During these pregnancy mental health consultations, I invite you to bring all the questions that did not fit into your OB or midwife visit, or that felt too personal or overwhelming to address in a rushed appointment. This may include anxiety about labor and delivery, worries about medication use, mood changes, intrusive thoughts, sleep struggles, prior birth trauma, or fears about postpartum adjustment. My goal is to provide calm, evidence-based prenatal mental health guidance in a setting where you never feel hurried or judged.
These visits can also be valuable if you simply have prenatal questions and concerns that were left unanswered or confusing after a previous appointment. I can help you sort through information you received, clarify what is typical versus what needs follow-up, and identify questions to bring back to your OB/GYN or midwife. Many patients describe this as having a knowledgeable, steady partner on the mental health side of pregnancy.
Whether you choose a brief check-in or a full 60-minute session for support for pregnancy questions, you will leave with practical next steps, a better understanding of your emotional responses, and a plan for how to advocate for yourself in your ongoing prenatal care. My intention is to help you feel more grounded and confident as you move through pregnancy, rather than alone with your worries.
